_______________________________________________________________________________

I had a little observation yesterday at a nearest mall from my home and found out this thing. Kids nowadays are very different than my generation are supposed to be. As they walk with their family, they seems to be very occupied with such things like smartphones and computer tablet, and ignore the world around them. I remembered when I was a kid, I used to bring my favorite toys and pretend they're alive and talking to me. It's not weird. It's imagination. I don't sit around staring at gadgets because yeah, they don't really drive my attention.

Kids nowadays are more likely to dressed... Like a grown up. Long, curly, salon hair, wearing a new arrival shirt from an international brand, mini skirts, flip flops, and some golds and pearls. "Yeah, just like the Kardashians do!" or "Yeah, this is what they call cool!" they said.  Well, look at me when I was your age: a childish pink or floral dress, short Dora-bob hair, bows and laces. Yoohoo.

Is that how society distort the innocence of childhood? Parents' fault? I don't know.

I'm afraid Einstein's prophecy was correct.

  1. How true.. I hate to see children holding their smartphones and ignoring their surroundings like it never exists. Sometimes I want to appear in front of their faces and say, "Hey, it's not real!" or stuffs.
I'm loving your artworks by the way! :D

    1. Yeah. I don't know how kids nowadays 'play' with their own imagination while their daily activities are only with their phones...
